The institutionalisation of repression in twentieth-century European totalitarian states<\/em>, aimed at fostering critical reflection on the devastating consequences that intransigence and ideological radicalisation have historically had on citizens\u2019 lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Several specialists in the field took part, analysing from a multidisciplinary and international perspective how the main organs of the State became political instruments that violated the rights and freedoms of the population.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Within the framework of this seminar, on 30 October, Dr Josep Serrano Daura, Director of the Fiter i Rossell Chair at eUniv, delivered a lecture on Catalan Historical Law and the continuity of the civil regime up to the twenty-first century.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"189\" height=\"267\" src=\"https:\/\/euniv.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/download.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-19432\"\/><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Between 20 and 30 October 2025, the Area of History of Law and Institutions of Miguel Hern\u00e1ndez University of Elche organised the Research Seminar: Victims and Perpetrators.
