The European Observatory of Communication (OEC), a specialized research center created through an agreement between the J. H. Newman Doctoral School of eUniv (European University of Andorra) and the Higher School of Public Relations at the University of Barcelona, has held the XII Symposium grafica_qp.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"140\" src=\"https:\/\/euniv.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Banner-Symposium-1024x140.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20948\" srcset=\"https:\/\/euniv.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Banner-Symposium-1024x140.png 1024w, https:\/\/euniv.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Banner-Symposium-300x41.png 300w, https:\/\/euniv.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Banner-Symposium-768x105.png 768w, https:\/\/euniv.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Banner-Symposium-1536x209.png 1536w, https:\/\/euniv.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Banner-Symposium-1200x163.png 1200w, https:\/\/euniv.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Banner-Symposium-1400x191.png 1400w, https:\/\/euniv.eu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/09\/Banner-Symposium.png 2048w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event, held from September 2 to 4 at BAU, Arts and Design College of Barcelona, brought together 52 participants and 40 researchers from around the world to analyze the main current challenges in graphic design and advertising.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Artificial intelligence, new technologies, creativity, branding, research methodologies, and the social responsibility of design were among the main topics addressed during the conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Organized annually by the OEC in collaboration with various university research groups, the Symposium included lectures, scientific papers, doctoral thesis presentations, and awards recognizing works published in the journals <em>Grafica<\/em> and <em>Questiones Publicitarias<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Through this initiative, the European Observatory of Communication reinforces its international focus and its commitment to research and scientific dissemination in communication, design, and advertising, helping project the academic and research ecosystem linked to Andorra.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The next edition, the XIII Symposium grafica_qp, will take place from September 8 to 10, 2027, at the EASD Higher School of Design in Valencia, under the theme &#8220;Explaining the What and the How of Graphic Design and Advertising Research.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The XII Symposium grafica_qp brings together 52 participants in Barcelona and consolidates the international reach of visual communication research.
