Secretariat General’s Office Services: Teaching and students

The eUniv Academic Secretary General’s Office Service, along with the functions assigned to it by the Standing Rules, is responsible for three university services to manage the everyday life of the university students, which begins with their enrolment on a course and ends with the procedure for issuing the corresponding qualification.

In the performance of its functions, the eUniv Academic Secretary General coordinates the university management and administration services and the university community’s technical support, as well as appointing those responsible for its chiefdoms:

The Academic Management Service is responsible for the student admission procedures, their gradual enrolment, updating of the corresponding academic records, academic certification, and issuing state qualifications through the Ministry of Education of the Government of Andorra.

Moreover, the Academic Management Service is responsible for managing university statistics, in keeping with the guidelines of the Andorran public authorities, and also for the managing and supervising of the eUniv Registry and General Archive.

The person responsible for its Chiefdom is the Praelector of the University, appointed by the Academic Secretary General’s Office from the members of its personnel with specialised training, and is the body responsible for the running and quality of the service.

The functions of the Chiefdom of the eUniv Academic Management Service are carried out by Mr Lluís S. Serés, by express delegation of the Academic Secretary-General of 25 April 2019. His mandate ends on 31 August 2023. praelector@euniv.eu

The Teaching Management Service is the body responsible for managing HELDA, the LCMS platform of the eUniv, which involves, along with coordinating the academic management software, the updating and control of the quality of contents, training activities and teaching methodologies of eUniv courses.

Moreover, the Teaching Management Service is responsible for managing the Faculty Ongoing Training Programme, and also running the Teaching Innovation Laboratory, for which it has specific coordination bodies.

The Service’s Chiefdom, appointed by the Academic Secretary General’s Office from the members of its personnel with specialised training, is the body responsible for the running and quality of the service.

The functions of the Chiefdom of the eUniv Teaching Management Service are carried out by Mrs Maria A. Corredor, by express delegation the Academic Secretary of 25 April 2019. Her mandate ends on 31 August 2023. helda@euniv.eu

The University Tutorial and Guidance Management Service is the body responsible for organising the following plans and specialised programmes:

  1. The Introductory Plan for new students on the University’s courses.
  2. The Tutorial Action Plan for enrolled students.
  3. The Guidance Programme for graduate students.
  4. The Tutorial Training Programme for teaching staff.

The person responsible for its Chiefdom is the Senior Tutor of the University, appointed by the Academic Secretary General’s Office from the members of its personnel with specialised training, and is the body responsible for the running and quality of the service.

The functions of the Chiefdom of the eUniv Tutorial and Guidance Service are carried out by Mrs Emma López, by express delegation of the Academic Secretary General of 25 April 2019. Her mandate ends on 31 August 2023. tutormajor@euniv.eu.
