Applied and applicable: Computer Science

The European University offers courses in the field of Computer Science designed in an applied way, with the aim of allowing fluid entry into the professional world and flexible adaptation to the dizzying technological innovation, but without avoiding the debates created by its development in the social and political arena, and encompass three of the four cycles established by the European Higher Education Area (QF-EHEA):

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science

Andorran state qualification of the First Cycle of the QF-EHEA, created by the Government Decree of 8 April 2009. It lasts 6 semesters (3 years), and earns 180 ECTS. The Bachelor’s Degree is the equivalent of the French Licence and the Spanish Grado.

Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering

Andorran state qualification of the Second Cycle of the QF-EHEA, created by the Decree of 21 January 2015. It lasts 4 semesters (2 years) and earns 120 ECTS. The Master’s Degree is the equivalent of the French Maîtrise and the Spanish Máster Universitario.

Doctoral Programme

Andorran state qualification of the Third Cycle of the QF-EHEA, created by the Decree of 23 April 2008. It lasts 3 years and is equivalent to the qualifications throughout the EHEA of the same name.
