The silver thread: Humanities
The European University offers courses in the field of the humanities with a cultural and holistic perspective, nurturing a critical spirit and creativity, both absolutely essential to provide the public with culture and freedom, encompassing three of the four cycles established by the European Higher Education Area (QF-EHEA):
Bachelor’s Degree in Humanities
Andorran state qualification of the First Cycle of the QF-EHEA, created by Government Decree of 8 April 2009. It lasts 6 semesters (3 years) and earns 180 ECTS. The Bachelor’s Degree is the equivalent of the French Licence and the Spanish Grado.
Master’s Degree in Humanities
Andorran state qualification of the Second Cycle of the QF-EHEA, created by the Decree of the 21 January 2015. It lasts 4 semesters (2 years), and earns 120 ECTS. The Master’s Degree is the equivalent of the French Maîtrise and the Spanish Máster Universitario.
