University Institute IURNAT: University Cooperation and Essential Knowledge Transfer
eUniv was founded with a firm commitment to opening up to the world and establishing institutional communication links with academic and scientific organizations in all fields. Despite its youth, eUniv has extensive experience in educational technologies, both in management and teaching, and is eager to share this with institutions worldwide that are interested.
IURNAT was created precisely for this mission: to establish mechanisms of cooperation that allow the transfer of the accumulated scientific capital to other universities, thus strengthening eUniv’s connections within the international academic context.
Organization of IURNAT
The Institute Council
The Council is the highest academic governing body of IURNAT. As such, it is responsible for setting the lines of scientific and institutional development, as well as evaluating and reporting on activity and project proposals from its members.
General Directorate
The General Directorate is the single-person academic body responsible for coordinating IURNAT’s institutional activities, led by Dr. Carlos Martínez.
General Secretariat
The General Secretariat is the single-person academic body responsible for managing IURNAT’s academic activities, held by Ms. Ángeles Corredor.
Cooperative Activities
IURNAT develops cooperation and technology transfer agreements in various areas of university management and technology:
- Resources for academic management of programs. IURNAT collaborates in the implementation of academic management software for university programs, designed to streamline processes and make them more efficient.
- Resources for teaching management of programs. IURNAT collaborates in the implementation of teaching management software for online university programs, ensuring compliance with all internal quality assurance protocols established by quality agencies.
- Resources for communication and promotion of programs. IURNAT assists in managing digital communication campaigns aimed at disseminating and promoting the university’s program offerings.
- Resources for organizing higher education institutions. IURNAT supports the creation of new higher education centers, offering methodologies, organization and management systems, as well as legal and economic advice.
Areas of Focus
IURNAT’s preferred geographical areas of focus are the countries of Latin America, particularly the Republics of Ecuador, Colombia, and Peru. In 2021, the Principality of Andorra hosted the XXVII Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government, which was dedicated to innovation and sustainable development. Through IURNAT, eUniv contributes to this strategic objective of the Ibero-American community. The first realized project under this initiative is:
- Pacificonline. A technology transfer agreement between IURNAT and the Universidad del Pacífico in Guayaquil, Ecuador, aimed at launching the university’s online postgraduate programs.
