University Institute Laurentia: Rethinking the Risk Society
The so-called “Risk Society” has been a central intellectual focus of eUniv since its inception, fueled by the academic and professional experiences accumulated by its founding entities. This interest materialized and took shape with the creation of the Institut Universitari Laurentia, specifically dedicated to the social and technical analysis of all areas related to security, and closely connected to the university’s programs, particularly those in Criminology, Psychology, Law, and Applied Technology. The IU Laurentia carries out its activities with the support of the Laurediana Foundation.
