The sessions of the Doctoral Seminar on the History of Universities, convened by the J. H. Newman Doctoral School, were held on July 4 and 5, 2022. The sessions took place in the seminar rooms of the Lauredià Cultural and Congress Center.
This scientific call was organized by the Universities and Country Doctoral Research Line. The doctoral students of the line attended on a mandatory basis and were able to present and discuss their research. The Seminar was also attended by three prominent university historians: Dr. Rafael Ramis (University of the Balearic Islands), Dr. J. J. Busqueta (University of Lleida) and Dr. Fco. Fdz. Luzón (Autonomous University), who shared their research perspectives with doctoral students.
The Comú de Sant Julià, for its part, in addition to providing the communal facilities, organized a Lauredian route for all those attending the Seminary and the Lauredian consuls accompanied them to the closing lunch of the academic event.
