Universitat Europea (eUniv) participates in the 5th European Congress Higher Education Law in Berlin

Sant Julià de Lòria, Andorra – September 22, 2026 — La Universitat Europea (eUniv) had a prominent participation in the fifth edition of the European Congress Higher Education Law, held on September 19, 2026, at the headquarters of the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences. The eUniv delegation was composed of the Registrar, Mr. Enric Roig, and the Praelector of the University, Mr. Lluís Serés.
The event was organized by the Institute of European and International Higher Education Law, an entity affiliated with the European University Trust, with the support of the Deutsche Hochschulstiftung (German University Foundation).
The regulation of Generative AI at the center of the debate
This year’s edition centered on analyzing the impact of recent technological advances on learning processes, academic assessments, and university research. During the working sessions, various institutional strategies to address the accelerated introduction of generative artificial intelligence across higher education were debated.
Additionally, several regulatory options and their integration into the European legal framework for higher education were presented, aiming to propose legislative adaptations to address current legal tensions and foster common criteria throughout the European Higher Education Area.
