The School of Continuing Education is the eUniv centre responsible for implementing specialised continuing education and university extension programmes, both at undergraduate and postgraduate level, and for awarding the university’s corresponding own degrees.

The Prefecture is the academic body of the EFC that carries out the functions of overall coordination and supervision of teaching activities and represents the school.

The Prefecture of the EFC has been held by Lluís S. Serés since 1 November 2025.

The Technical Secretariat is the academic body of the EFC responsible for academic management, quality assurance monitoring, and the organisation of the centre’s academic processes.

CenteIA is a space designed to bring artificial intelligence closer to everyone in a clear, practical and accessible way. It is born with a dual mission: to educate and to support. On the one hand, it seeks to democratise knowledge through training content that enables people to understand and apply AI in everyday life. On the other, it offers consulting and automation services for companies, helping them transform processes, improve their productivity and innovate. In essence, CenteIA defines itself as a bridge between the potential of AI and the people or organisations that want to harness it.

Formintegral is an organisation specialised in non-regulated vocational training, both in-person and online, adapted to different sectors. It offers flexible courses, supervised by active professionals, with interactive resources that promote practical learning closely linked to the real labour market. As a centre accredited by the SEPE, it allows training programmes to be subsidised through FUNDAE. Its mission is to transform traditional education by offering a dynamic, accessible and learner-centred experience that fosters the development of useful, up-to-date and highly demanded skills. In essence, Formintegral is a bridge between knowledge and high-quality labour market integration.

The Institute of Financial Studies (IEF) is an institution based in Barcelona specialising in education, research and outreach in finance. It acts as a benchmark hub connecting professionals, companies, public administrations and academia to drive financial innovation and financial education. It offers programmes for executives and technical staff in the sector, professional certifications, seminars and knowledge-transfer activities, as well as projects in banking, markets and sustainability. Through alliances with universities and public and private entities — such as its partnership agreement with eUniv — the IEF promotes degrees and initiatives that respond to the current needs of the financial system.

ISCREB promotes education around religion and religious diversity, the theological formation of lay people, the dialogue between faith and culture, the training of teachers of Religion, and the training of people responsible for various ministries and ecclesial services in the parishes, movements and communities of the Diocese.

The so-called “risk society” has been one of eUniv’s main intellectual focal points since its foundation, fuelled by the academic and professional experience accumulated by its founding entities. This interest took shape and was articulated through the creation of the Lafayette University Institute, specifically devoted to the social and technical analysis of all areas linked to security, and in connection with the programmes offered at the University’s centres, especially those in Criminology, Psychology, Law and applied technology.

The European Communication Observatory (OEC) is a specialised research centre created by agreement between the J. H. Newman Doctoral School, of which it is part, and the Higher School of Public Relations of the University of Barcelona.

Thus, the OEC was created with the aim of promoting scientific and doctoral research activities in the specific fields of Communication, Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing.
