Defense of Rodrigo Cabedo’s Doctoral Thesis
On Friday, 19 December 2025, at 11:00 a.m., the public defense of the doctoral thesis submitted by Rodrigo Cabedo took place in the University’s Rector Noguero Hall. The thesis, entitled University-level higher education in Business Administration in the principalities of Andorra and Catalonia (2000–2025), was supervised and academically overseen by Dr. Jesús Prujà. As required by doctoral regulations, the thesis had previously received favorable reports from three external specialists (Dr. A. Cebrián, Dr. F. X. Sales, and Dr. A. Ten).
The examining committee was chaired by Dr. A. Albiol (University of Barcelona), with Dr. Marc B. Escolà (eUniv) serving as secretary, and included three additional members: M. Casalprim (University of Andorra), L. Bujalance (Rey Juan Carlos University), and D. Tanganelli (International University of Catalonia).
The chair granted the floor to all doctoral degree holders present in the room, and five of them exercised their right to present their remarks on the thesis.
The committee awarded the grade Excellent, nemine discrepante. Consequently, Dr. E. Llop, Vice-Rector of eUniv, collected and sealed the envelopes containing the committee members’ secret ballots for the awarding of the cum laude distinction to the thesis. Dr. Llop announced to attendees that the public opening ceremony would be held on Monday, 22 December, at 12:00 noon, in the same Rector Noguero Hall.
Rodrigo Cabedo will formally join eUniv’s Faculty of Law and Social Sciences as an Associate Doctor on 18 July 2026, during the graduation ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year.
