eUniv Jubilee 2025 in Rome

During the first week of August, eUniv organized a pilgrimage to the city of Rome on the occasion of the Jubilee of the year 2025.
The pilgrimage was led by the University Chancellor, Dr. Jesús M. Prujà, and included the presence of several members of the General Board, the Academic Board, and the Academic Senate, among them the representatives of the founding foundations of the university.
The group was able to visit the headquarters of the Pontifical Lateran University, located within the complex of the Archbasilica of St. John, the University of the Holy Cross, near Piazza Navona, as well as the campus of La Sapienza University next to San Pietro in Vincoli.
During their stay in Rome, the eUniv representatives followed an itinerary focused on the historical period from the Council of Nicaea (325) to the Council of Ephesus (431), with the aim of grasping the spiritual and historical significance that, for Christianity, both the adoption of the Nicene Creed, on the one hand, and the dogmatic consolidation of the figure of the Virgin Mary established at Ephesus, had and still have. This latter is represented in Rome by the Archbasilica of St. Mary Major, where they were able to attend the annual ceremony of the Miracle of the Snows, celebrated on Tuesday, August 5.
