Passing of Dr. Jordi Albiol i Paps
eUniv informs its entire university community of the sad news of the passing of Dr. Jordi Albiol i Paps, which occurred on December 29, 2025, as a result of a car accident in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, where he was on vacation.
Like his brother, Dr. Alfred Albiol, a member of eUniv’s Academic Senate since its founding, Dr. Jordi Albiol was a professor of Commercial Law at the University of Barcelona, where he earned his doctorate in 1993. He was currently retired and collaborated by advising projects and initiatives of eUniv’s Faculty of Law and Social Sciences and its Doctoral School.
The Board and the Academic Senate of the University extend their condolences to all family members and friends.
