Agreement between J. H. Newman Doctoral School and Public Relations High School from the UB

Both institutions have reached an agreement to promote cientific and doctoral investigation

J. H. Newman Doctoral School from the eUniv and Public Relations High School (ESRP) from the UB have stablished an agreement of academic cooperation with the objective of driving cientific and doctoral reserach in the fields of Communication, Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing.

The planned activities will be integrated in Max Weber’s Chair, due to its specialization in the fiels of Economic and Social Sciences, and will be organically identified as the European Observatory of Communication, Advertising, Public Relations and Marketing (OEC).

Under this agreement, ESERP teaching staff will be able to access the Doctoral Programme of the eUniv and integrate to OEC’s line of doctoral research, being part of the doctoral procedure body, direct doctoral degrees, participate in OEC’s scientific meetings, propose the publication of scientific articles and reviews or apply for docotoral and postdoctoral scholarships and finance.

En virtut d’aquest conveni, el professorat de l’ESRP podrà accedir al Programa de Doctorat de la eUniv i integrar-se a la línia de recerca doctoral especialitzada de l’OEC, formar part dels òrgans previstos en el procediment doctoral, dirigir tesis, participar en les convocatòries científiques de l’OEC, proposar la publicació d’articles i ressenyes científiques o sol·licitar beques i ajuts a la recerca doctoral o postdoctoral.

The eUniv recibes the gratitude from Manuel de Pedrolo’s daughter for the chair’s name

The name of the historic catalan writer leads the Catalan Philology chair

Ms. Adelais de Pedrolo, daughter of Manuel de Pedrolo and president of the foundation that has his name, has expressed to the eUniv her personal and institutional gartitude due to the decision of dedicate the Catalan Philology chair to his father’s memory.

Takeing this decision, the eUniv has wanted to clearly manifest its recognition to the life and work of Manuel de Pedrolo, a testimony of an incorruptible freedom and a true service to the catalan lenguage and culture.

The eUniv webpage will allow to link directly to Manuel de Pedrolo FoundationLa web de la eUniv permitirá enlazar directamente tanto con la Fundación Manuel de Pedrolo (www.fundaciopedrolo.cat) and Espacio Pedrolo (www.espaipedrolo.cat), a center located in Comabella’s castle, in la Segarra, which is the headquarter of the foundation and the place where the documentary collection is saved and where there is an exposed his life and literary work.

Aranyó’s castle, where Manuel de Pedrolo was born, is currently a property of an Andorran family.

Agreement between the eUniv and Arnau Mir de Tost Foundation

The European University will cooperate with the foundation in order to promote activities and events

The eUniv has stablished and agreement of collaboration with Arnau Mir de Tost Foundation with the main objective to enable the broadcast of both activities and events from both institutions to its respective communities.

Arnau Mir de Tost Foundation’s main scope of action is the defense and promotion of Vall d’Àger’s natural and cultural heritage, as well as the broadcast of the historic figure of Arnau Mir de Tost, who has been specially related to this territory, and Valls d’Andorra too.

Its current president is Dr. Francesc Fité, El seu actual president és el Dr. Francesc Fité, emeritus professor at the University of lleida and Academic Senate member of the eUniv.

All members from our university community interested to access to publications, projects and activities from Arnau Mir de Tost Foundation have a direct link at eUniv’s website to www.fundacioarnaumirtost.cat.

The agreement also covers the cooperation in PhD research projects through Arnau Mir de Tost Arts and Humanities chair from the eUniv.
